LAGOS UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL

ANAESTHETIC TECHNICIAN ONE YEAR SANDWICH TRAINING PROGRAMME 

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates who wish to upgrade their previous two year in-house training certificate in LUTH or other recognized institutions. This one year Sandwich  Programme is strictly non-residential and  institutions can sponsor candidates. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT 

Candidates must possess the following qualifications: 

• SSCE/GCE or WAEC/NECO with six (6) credits at not more than two (2) sittings, knowledge of science will be an advantage. 

• Two years training as Anaesthetic Health Assistant/Technician with evidence of certificate from a recognized training institution. 

DURATION OF COURSE: ONE YEAR 

This programme is a full time course involving shift duties. 

At the end of the training, successful candidates who must be willing to work under direct supervision of professional 

Anaesthetists will be awarded appropriate certificate. 

TRAINING FEE: N99,000.00 for the one year programme, payable at the point of admission. 

METHOD OF APPUCATION 

Application Forms are obtainable from the Chief Medical Director, LUTH, P.M.B.12003,

Lagos, Nigeria on payment of a non-refundable fee of N5,000 (Five thousand naira) only. Fees issued in BANK DRAFT should be made payable to the Lagos  University Teaching Hospital with the name and address of the applicant bodily writen at the back of the Bank Draft. 

NB: Cheque/Postal Orders are NOT acceptable. On submission of the bank draft, a receipt must be obtained for the  said sum. The receipt will be tenderer at the collection point of the application form. 

Completed application forms together with the letter from the two refereesphotocopies of relevant certificates/credentials as required and the copy of the receipt for the sum paid must be addressed to:

Only application forms of candidates shortlisted for written examinations and interview will be acknowledged.

Incompletely filled forms will not be treated
