ANEZI OKORO MEMORIAL FOUNDATION: RESEARCH GRANT CALL FOR PROPOSAL
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The Anezi-Okoro Memorial Foundation was established in memory of a young female Doctor who died of cancer in 2015. In honour of the beautiful and dutiful professional, a research grant was set up by the family which is awarded annually to researchers in Medical Institutions.

2.0 BRIEF ON THE PROPOSAL
As part of the activities, for the 2016 memorial, suitably qualified candidates are invited for a one page research proposal of not more than 1,000 words in the following areas:
i.Cancer
ii.Infectious diseases
3.0 METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested candidates are to forward seven (7) copies of their proposal (including address, telephone number and email) under confidential cover in a sealed envelop marked at the upper left hand corner “Research Proposal” to:

Benin City.
4.0 CLOSING DATE
The proposals should reach the Secretary not later than six weeks from the date of this publication.
5.0 SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES
The proposals would be assessed by a committee of experts and the successful candidates would be informed by the end of January, 2017 while the award ceremony would be performed by mid-February, 2017.
