Applications for the ICN Global Nursing Policy Leadership Institute Opens

The new International Council of Nursing Global Nursing Policy Leadership Institute Programme (GNPLI) is an innovative programme conceived to improve the already acclaimed Global Nursing Leadership Institute which ran from 2009 to 2016.

This new concept aims to enhance the policy approach and will provide you and other select senior nurses coming from all 6 WHO regions with the foundations of policy making. The programme will increase your capacity to work towards better health outcomes and quality of care at all levels.

Application process

Applications will be accepted between 2 March and 14 April at midnight.

To be accepted, applicants will need to :

• Address the 20 questions in the form

• Attach their Curriculum Vitae

Selection process

After the application process ends on 14 April at midnight, a selection committee will carefully look at each of them. Selected participants will be notified on 26 May 2017.

Where and when?

If you are among the 30 selected participants you will join the event on 8-15 September 2017, which will be held at the conference centre of the Château de Bossey near Geneva.
