On the 27th of May 2017, the Association of Resident Doctors ABUTH joined children of members of staff in celebrating children day 2017.
In his remark to celebrate the day, the Chairman ARD-ABUTH noted that though its members get to work long hours in the hospital with each other but their families often times do not get to meet each other.
Therefore there seemed to be the need to organise the event that brought all families together in an atmosphere where they can meet and get to know each other as well as create fun and intellectual activities for the kids while in a relaxed setting.
He also reminded everyone that our today's children are our tomorrow's future in the fields of medicine, other sciences and Arts.
Guests present were given special treats . The visit was equally taken to the paediatric medical ward and surgical ward where the artwork done by healthier kids were donated to their sick friends as get well soon gifts among other gift items on the ward.
