The Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN)PRESENT a one day workshop on THE MEDICO-LEGAL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBIUTIES OF STAKEHOLDERS IN PATIENT-CENTERED PRACTICE IN NIGERIA.
AIMS AND OBJECTIVES: This workshop is organized in a bid to stem the tide in the incessant harassment. growing litigations as well as strained relationship between the doctor and the patient on one hand and media damage of the medical profession, inter professional conflicts and occasional kidnapping on the other hand.
The workshop also aim to address the following :- (I) jointly appraise the issues at stake
(ii) receive perception of the individual stakeholders on the issues
(iii) ethical issues
(iv) Immediate and remote causes
(v) implications
(vi) Solutions: short term and long term.
