Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria National Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting

The 31st National Scientific Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria (APHPN), for the very first time, will be holding in Benue State: “The Food Basket of the Nation”.

The State derives its name from River Benue, which is the 2nd largest river in Nigeria after River Niger. The people of the state are known for their warmth and hospitality. Makurdi, the State capital where the Meeting will hold, is fast becoming a favourite conference destination in the North Central Zone of the Country.
