Bingham University Teaching Hospital, Jos Department of Community Medicine and Primary Health Care Community Health Officers (CHO) Training

The Management of Bingham University Teaching Hospital (BHUTH) Jos wishes to invite suitably qualified candidates to apply for admission into the Community Health Officers (CHO) Training Programme for the 2019/2020 academic session.

This programme leads to award of the Higher Diploma in Community Health.

Admission forms can be obtained from 11" February – 3^rd May, 2019 from the office of the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC)BHUTH, Jos upon the payment of a non-refundable fee of Eight Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (N8,500.00) only.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of (5) 'O' Level Credit Passes in the SSCE/GCE/NECO at not more than two (2) , sittings in the following subjects: Biology/Health Science, English, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics in addition to

1. Diploma in Community Health (CHEW)
2. Community Health Assistant/CHEW with an Abridgement-Diploma.

MODALITIES OF PAYMENT

Community Health Officers Training Programme; obtain a teller and present same to the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee Office in BHUTH for issuance of the form.

Upon filling the form, it should be returned on or before the closing date to the: Secretary, Coordinator's office, CHO, Training Programme, Department of Community Medicine & Primary Health Care, BHUTH, Jos.
