POSITION: Consultant ENT SURGEON

LOCATION: Abuja, Nigeria

Job summary

A skilled ENT SURGEON with significant knowledge in ENT and related fields of SURGERY.

A medical doctor with some undertanding of hospital administrative processes.

Skills in inpatient and outpatient general surgery and ENT including endoscopic procedures and diagnosis

Qualification and skill requirement:

·         A medical degree ( MBBS, MD or equivalent)

-         A postgraduate degree in heatlcare related field (Masters Equivalent)- Clinical or Academic  would be a significant added advantage

·         Qualification as a Consultant (FWACP, FMCP, or equivalent)

Experience

A minimum of 7 years clincal experience

Key competencies and attributes:

·         Excellent general surgical and ORL clinical skills and ability to show empathy

·         Strong team player with proven organizational and administrative skills

·         Strong Leadership skills to ensure development of world class ENT Unit and motivate staff towards goal

·         Ability to adjust to practice in a dynamic environment and practice in a computerized environment

-         Ability to participate and engage in clinical audit

-         Ability to carry out clinical research and publish accordingly (2 papers per year minimum)

Compensation

Competitive salaries (mimimum starting level - Consultant FG CONMESS Equivalent with skipping) .
