Coventry University is seeking an Associate Professor of Mobile Health in the Centre for Intelligent Healthcare.  The Centre aims to become a globally recognised research centre for pioneering and opinion-setting research in the area of digital healthcare and its contribution to improving communities and enriching and prolonging individual lives.

 

The Centre is home to a vibrant programme of work across our three core themes: Epidemiology and Evidenced Based Healthcare, Prototype Design and Testing and also Behavioural and Implementation Science. These themes have ongoing projects in the development of online digital healthcare platforms, wearable health sensors, remote monitoring solutions, physiological measurement, biomedical signal processing, AI algorithms in healthcare, big data analytics, healthcare device innovation and interaction with local communities to identify and overcome barriers to the use of innovative healthcare technologies.

 

The Associate Professor post of Mobile Health would be able to develop projects in the areas of mobile health and Internet-of-Things (m-IOT), mobile phone delivered interventions for chronic disease management, big m-Health data analytics, smartphone app development, behavioural change management, as well as the use of 5G technology to transform how healthcare is delivered, and to supervise PhD students and contribute to the progress of the Centre.
