Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-uku 2018/2019 Admission into Higher National Diploma(HND) Programmes

Applications are invited from all interested and qualified candidates for Admission into the following NBTE accredited HND Programmes of Delta State Polytechnic. Ogashi-Uku for the 2018/2019 Academic Session:

AVAILABLE HND PROGRAMMES

(a) School of Applied Science

(i) HND Computer Science

(ii) HND Hotel and Tourism Management

(iii) Science Laboratory Technology (SLT)

(iv) HND Statistics

2. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

(a) A National Diploma (ND) obtained with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant discipline Irom institutions where the programmes are duly accredited by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) with a minimum of one ( I ) year Industrial Training in the field of specialization.

(b) Candidates who obtained ND at Pass level with a minimum of two (2) years Industrial Training in the field of specialization.

(c) At least Five (5) credit passes in SSCE (WAEC and NECO). GCE “0 Level. NABTEB or its equivalent in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings.

(d) Candidates who gained Admission in ND programmes through JAMS. inclusive of items (a) to (c) above.

3. METHOD OF APPLICATION

(a) Log on to https://dspg.waeup.org and click Application for Admission. then click on HND Application form. Fill in the requested information and submit to obtain your application ID.

Pay a non-refundable application fee of Ten Thousand Seven Hundred and Fifty Naira (N 10,750.00) only made online with Verve or Master card (ATM Card).

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL HND CANDIDATES

All candidates who succeed in gaining Admission into the Polytechnic shall be required to upload relevant documents online and appear for physical clearance with the original copies at the Admission Office.

CLOSING DATE:

Application closes on 17th August. 2018.

Screening date will be communicated to shortlisted candidates.
