The attention of the Management of NIGERIAN PORTS AUTHORITY (NPA) has been drawn to the activities od staff into the Authority's Fire Service Department.

One of the text messages sent to unsuspecting victims reads: "You are invited for an aptitude test/interview on 18th Febuary, 2014 by 9am at 1 banatunde Street off Ogunlana Drive, Surulere, Lagos."

The second text message from GSM 08038317672 reads "Congratulations!!! your training starts Thursday, 20th February,2014 at No 1 Banatunde Street, Off Ogunlana Drive, Surulere, Lagos

The unsuspecting victims were asked to part with Five Hundred Naira (N500.00) for the aptitude test/inview while "Successful" Candidates were asked to pay Ten Thousand Naira for the training into the Authority's Fire Service Department.

Management dissociates itseld from these "Consutants" and states that it has never recruited any Consultant to act on its behalf. 

This Notice serves as a warning to the General Public to ignore such scams
