Elizabeth Folake Tade, Head of Nursing Services, Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) Retires

Elizabeth Folake Tade, the head of Nursing services, Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH) Sagamu retired statutorily on 22nd June 2017 upon attaining the age of sixty.
 
Members of the Nursing department marked her departure with a party which was also attended by management and staff of OOUTH, college and Sagamu community at the main college auditorium.
 
There was an outpour of encomiums on her.
Elizabeth, an alumnus of the International  Council of Nurses (ICN) Global Nursing Leadership Institute (GNLI) of Geneva Switzerland was appointed head of Nursing services  by OOUTH management board on 25th March 2014. She had the task of managing 354 staff (senior and junior).
 
She was described as an achiever, brilliant, intelligent, kind and visionary leader who repositioned nursing services in OOUTH Sagamu. She was a mentor to her staff.
 
In her response, she thanked all staff of nursing services for believing in her and organising this special retirement party for her. She prayed that the department would continue to flourish and progress.
