The Nigerian Association of Social Workers has said it will embark on several activities, including offering free medical tests and an endurance/fitness walk in Ikeja, Lagos State, as part of activities to celebrate the International Social Workers’ Day.
The theme of this year’s celebration is International Social Work Day Celebration: Promoting importance of human relationships and accountability.
A statement by the Secretary, Lagos State chapter of members of the association, Mr Mathew Odesanya, said the group would also embark on psycho-social support services to the public.
