Job Title: Director Clinical Services

Salary: Negotiable

Work Hours: 40 hours weekly

 

The Healing Stripes Hospital is a health Facility set up by the City of David Parish of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God as part of its Corporate Social  Responsibility. The facility was set up to be a Standard First class Medical facility in Nigeria, providing outstanding Medical care in a supportive environment. To ensure that optimum health care is accessible, affordable and reliable.

 

Objective.

We are looking for highly skilled personnel who is an expert in Clinical operations as well as holistic management of patients’ health, following standardized updated guidelines and procedures.

 

The Director Clinical Services is to ensure HSH Healthcare’s corporate management agenda by providing strong strategic, analytical, professional and clinical leadership for all clinical services in demonstrating care, compassion and respect for all patients and staff and is also a led member of the Management Team.

 

The ultimate duty is to ensure a seamless duty from the clinical team through regulated quality control and standard of operations lay out.

 

Reporting Relationship

The role reports to the Doctor in Charge by:

• Examining and discussing with patients to diagnose their medical conditions and ailments

• Performing surgeries, admitting and treating patients

• Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing health care delivery by continually monitoring the operations of HSH programs

• Supervises all Clinical Service, Unit staff and ensures they work effectively and in line with regulatory requirements and standards

• Monitoring and providing general care to patients

• Weighs alternative actions and makes decisions that reflects the facts of a situation

• Continuous analysis of the operations of the Clinical Service Unit to determine whether HSH is competitive and staying abreast with the latest services /trends/equipment in the healthcare delivery industry 

• Working with Admin to ensuring strict discipline amongst clinical staff in line with HSH condition of service

• Referring patients to specialist services in partner hospitals

• Liaising with specialist and consultants to ensure effective service delivery.

• Participating on ward rounds to monitor patient’s progress and responses to treatments.

• Recommending patients for specialist services in hospitals.

• Maintaining strict confidentiality of all patients’ information and records.

• Planning and providing appropriate treatment.

• Keeping abreast of new development in the medical field particularly in the areas of new drugs, treatments, ailment and medications.

• Discussing industry trend and development with Doctor in Charge.

• Working with the other doctors as part of a team, both in the same unit, and within other specialties

• You must have a minimum of M.B.B.S and a Fellowship in either Family Medicine/Internal Medicine/surgery.

• Have a current practicing license and have worked in similar role for a minimum of 7 years with International Exposure.

• Have verifiable managerial and leadership Skills.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
