On behalf of the Council and entire body of Fellows of the West African College of Surgeons, I wish to invite you to the 56th Annual Scientific Conference of the College, holding in Yaounde, Cameroon as follows:

Date: February 14th - 20th, 2016

Venue: Yaounde Conference Centre, Yaounde, Cameroon

Theme: Surgery and the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

(The Post 2015 MDGs Agenda)

Sub-Themes:

a. Trauma and Emergency Care

b. The role of Surgery in Global Health

c. Emergent and Re-Emerging Diseases

d. Health Care Financing (access to emergency care)

e. Surgery and Tele-Medicine

Arrivals will be on Saturday, February 13th and Sunday, February 14th, 2016. The Opening Ceremony will be held on Monday, February 15th, 2016 at Yaounde Conference Centre, Yaounde, Cameroon. You are welcome to attend the scientific sessions and other social functions. Attached is the copy of the Conference flyer.
