The Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON), established by Act 11 of 2002 with a mandate to register Environmental Health Officers and regulate Environmental Health practice in Nigeria.
In line with its mandate as enshrined in the enabling act, the Council is organizing the next batch of thematic trainings for registered Environmental Health Officers who have not met the required 75 point for renewal of 2014/ 2015 license on Health Safety and Environment (HSE) & Litigation and Court Processes in Environmental Health
The thematic training is aimed at imparting new knowledge, skills and providing opportunity to acquire special skills needed by Environmental Health Professionals to improve their efficiency and capabilities for better service delivery
The Two programme is scheduled to hold as follows:
Date: 24th – 25th February, 2014 – Health Safety and Environment
27th–28th February, 2014 – Litigation and Court Processes in Environmental Health
Venue: Disney Hotel, Along Onitsha-Owerri Expressway, Owerri, Imo State.
Cost: N20, 000 for each programme to be paid into the Council’s account number EHORECON 1013605291 Zenith Bank Plc.
