SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

1A. National Diploma in Environmental health Technology

Admission Requirements

5 credit passes in english, maths, biology, chemistry at GCE o'level, SSCE, NECO and one relevant subject from geography, food and nutrition, technical drawing, economics, accounts, commerce and physics

Duration: 2 years

Holders of Pre-National Diploma (Certificate in health technician program

 

1B. Training of Environmental Health Technician (EHT)

Admission Requirements:

Credit passes in biology, chemistry, english, mathematics and one pass in any of the following subjects: physics, commerce, econonmics, geography, accounts, food and nutrition, technical drawing

Duration: 3years

 

2. Higher National diploma (HND) in Environmental Health Technology

Admission Requirements:

Holders of National Diploma in EHT

Duration 2 years

For you to qualify for admission you must have the following

- you must not have any carryover

- You must have passed the board examination

- You must have observed I.T one year experience.

 

SCHOOL OF PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

1. Certificate in pharmacy technician course (leading to the award of pharmacy technician certificate of pharmacists council of Nigeria

Admission Requirments

5 credit passess including english, maths, physics, chemistry and biology in GCE O level, SSCE or NECO

Duration 3 years

 

SCHOOL OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

1. Professional Diploma in Health Information Management (HIM) leading to the award of professional diploma in HIM and licensing by the health records officers registration board of Nigeria (HRORBN)

Admission Requirements

A minimum of 3 credits and 2 passess in the relevant subjects at not more than 2 sittings at SSCE, WASC or its equivalent in the following subjects maths, english, biology/health science, physics/ chemistry and any other one subject

Duration 3 years

 

2. HIM DIRECT ENTRY

Admission Requirements:

Certificate in health inforamtion management assistant and 3 credits and 2 passess including english language, biology, health science, maths, physics/ chemistry and any other one subject at GCE O Level, SSCE or NECO

Duration 2 years

 

SCHOOL OF COMMUNITY HEALTH

1. Diploma in Community Health (CHEW) leading to the award of CHEW certificate and licensing by the national community health practitioners registration board of Nigeria (NCHPB)

Duratino 3 years

Admission Requirements:

5 Credits passess at WASC, NECO or GCE which must include biology/health science, chemistry, English language, maths and any other 1 subject from economics, commerce and accounts

Duration 3 years

 

2. Certificate in Community health (JCHEW) leading to the award of JCHEW Certificate and licensing by the National community health practitioners registration board of Nigeria (NCHPB)

Admission Requirements

3 credit passess in the following subjects: english language, maths, biology/health science, pass in chemistry and one pass in any of the following subjects: economics, accounts and commerce

SCHOOL OF COMPLEMENTARY HEALTH SCIENCES

1. National Diploma program

Admission Requirements

A minimum of 5 credit passes in SSCE, WASCE, GCE or its equivalent. The subjects must include english, maths, biology/health science, physics and chemistry

Duration 2 years

 

2. Higher National Diploma Program leading to the award of HND and professional certification and licensing by the medical rehabilitation board of Nigeria

Options: chiropractic, osteopathic, naturopathy, acunpuncture, Homeopathy

Admission requirements

A minimum of 5 credit passess in SSCE, WASCE, GCE or its equvalent. The subjects must include english, mahts, biology/health sciense, physics and chemistry

SCHOOL OF MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE

1. Technician certificate in Medical laboratory science

Leading to the award of technician certificate of medical laboratory council of Nigeria

Admission Requirements

A minimum of 5 credit passess in GCE, SSCE, NECO and NABTEB in the following subjects: english, maths, chemistry and biology and any other science subjects with at least a pass in physics and not more than 2 sittings

Duration 3 years

 

2. Medical Laboratory Technician (conversion) program

Admission requiremnts

Holders of Medical laboratory assistant certificate with the above entry requirments can apply

Duration 2 years

 

3. Technician certificate in Medical laboratory sciences in Phlebotomy:

Admission requirments

5 credit passess including english language, maths, chemistry and biology in GCE O Level, SSCE or NECO and any other subject from physics and economics

b. closing date for sales of late application form 29th July 2016

 

i. Entrance exam will be conducted at 9am on thursday 4th August 2016 at the college premises inthe following subjects: english, maths, biology, chemistry , physics, geography and general knowledge

Date of release of result 15th aug 2016 on the college website www.lascohet.edu.ng, result checker scratch card will be available for sale at the college premises

Oral interview will be held from Monday 22nd to friday 26th August, 2016 at the college premises.
