University of Maiduguri Teaching Hosptial, School of Nursing Admission, into the School of Nursing, October, 2015 Intake

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates from admission into the School of Nursing University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital leading to three (3) years course in General Nursing

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should possess five (5) credits in SSCE (WAEC/NECO) which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in not more than two (2) sittings. A combination of WAEC and NECO is acceptable

METHOD APPLICATION

Applicant should:

1. Pay non-refundable fee of Three Thousand Naira (N3000.00) only for the application form into the UMTH Schools Management Account 6000082010 at the MAINSTREET BANK Maiduguri, Main Branch.

2. Present the teller to the school cashier and obtain hospital receipt and use same to collect the application form from the school

3. Sale of application forms will begin as from 4th May, 2015 and closes on Friday, 26th June, 2015.

4. Closing date for submission of completed application forms is Friday 10th July, 2015

5. Completed application forms must be accompanied with

a. Two (2) recent passport photographs with white background.

b. Photocopies of all credentials including indigene certificate

c. Birth certificate or declaration of age

6. Applicates should not be above twenty-four (24) years of age

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION AND SELECTION INTERVIEW

There would be selection examination at 8.00 a.m. Prompt on Wednesday, 15th July, 2015 at the School of Nursing Auditorium for all qualified applicants.

Successful candidates will be invited for an interview at a date to be announced later.
