A state of the art comprehensive medical diagnostic centre located in Calarbar is seeking candidates with suitable and appropriate qualifications and experience are required to fill the following vacancy:

Medical Lab Scientist

Requirements:

. Candidates with Diploma/B.Sc in Medical laboratory Science with 4 - 5 years of experience in related field

. Valid licence to practise as a medical lab scientist

. Performs tasks, duties and tests in all areas of the laboratory assigned (heamatology, microbiology, immunology, bacteriology, microscopy, routine chemistry, therapeutic drug monitoring, histology) according to established laboratory protocols and procedures.

. Processes specimens utilizing protocols and technical knowledge. Calibrates standardizes and maintains automated or semiautomated instruments following established procedures

. Perform quality control, preventive maintanance, troubleshooting protocols to enable and ensure proper functioning of instruments, reagents and procedures

. Validates and reports results of tests performed. Delivers patients report according to times indicated in policy and collection manual

. Following and ensuring strict safety procedures and safety checks. Excellent communication & interpersonel skills

Radiographer/Mammographer

Requirements:

. Candidates with Diploma/B.Sc in Radiography

. Valid licence from the Nigerian Board of Radiographers

. Preferably 2 - 3 years experience in mammography, x-ray, CT or MRI. (Freshers can also apply)

. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.

. Customer focused with positive attitude

Medical Lab. Technician

Requirements:

. Candidates with Dip/B.Sc. in Med. Lab. Tech

. 2 - 3years of relevant experience collecting and distribution of specimens from various collection points; dispatching of compleated reports

. Performs phlebotomies, including arterial puncture, capillary punctures and venipunctures as appropriate for the patient requiring the procedure.

. Perform different staining procedures

. Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

NURSE

Requirements:

. Candidates with Dip/B.Sc in Nursing Science

. Valid registration with the Nursing council

. 3-5 years experience in radiology nursing, endoscopy nursing, emergency care (ICU) & professional competence on all primary health related issues

. Promotes and restores patients health by compleating the nursing process; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends and families; supervising assigned team members

. Clinical skills, bedside manners, infection control, nursing skills, administering medications, medical team work, multitasking, listening, verbal communication, health promotion and maintanance.
