The Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria has the partnered with the Associationof Medical Laboratory Scientists of the Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ogun State, to promote professionalism and better pratice. 

 

As a result, a consultant medical laboratory scientist from the University of Maryland, United States, Dr. Taishea Croxton, is expected to deliver a keynote address at the upcoming 6th annual Biomedical Science Day organised by the association, according to a statement.

 

The programme, with the theme, Nigerian medical loboratory system: Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria experience,' is scheduled to hold this week.

 

According to the statement, the programme will be held under the chairmanship of a chemical pathologist and Director, Post Graduate Research Institute,OOu Prof. O.A. Dada.

 

According to the statement, the Commissioner of Health in Ogun State, Dr. Olaokun Soyinka; acting Cheif Medical Director of the teaching hospital, Dr. H.A. Ajibode; Prof. S. A. Ogun; Provost, Obafemi Awolowo College of Health Sciences, Sagamu, Mr.A.I.Yinusa; and the Cheif Medical Laboratory Scientist of the hospital are among the dignitaries that are expected grace the two-day event
