Velo Cura's mission is to be the frontline provider of best in-class medical emergency response services in Nigeria. We are recruiting for the role of a Medical Operations Manager who will perform supervisory, administrative, and managerial work in managing the daily operations of Emergency Medical Services. Work involves the responsibility for the Administration, Human Resources, Finance and Quality Assurance functions of the emergency medical services.

Job Position : Medical Operations Manager

Qualifications :

·         MBBS from a reputable university.

·         Current practising license by MDCN.

·         Certification in AHA certified courses such as ALS,BLS, ATLS, PALS (desirable)

·         Minimum of 5 years post NYSC experience.

·         Experience working in an emergency response setting (ER, ICU, Ambulance, Trauma centres) is an added advantage.

Major Roles and Responsibilities : 

·         Developing policies, procedures and standard operating guidelines

·         Developing treatment protocols

·         Contribute to executive policy and company long and short term strategies

·         Review performance measurement reports

·         Promote functional teamwork

·         Ensure surbodinates adhere to professional standards, punctuality, good personal appearance, health and safety procedures

·         Ensure vehicle equipment and consumables comply with health regulations

·         Staffing, training, retention, reward and appraisal

·         Prepare departmental budget

·         Deliver a service within budget and agreed performance

·         Risk identification and  management

·         Monitor and inform/apply standards created by external bodies and integrate within internal quality management systems

Monitor performance according to set standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels.
