The Medical Rehabilitation Therapists (Registration) Board MRTB thanks all, especially the early bird registrants (both from within and outside Nigeria) for the interest shown so far concerning the International Conference for Medical Rehabilitation Professionals, (ICMRP 2017) holding on September 20th-22nd 2017 in Lagos.

 

The Board appreciates the enthusiasm among her registrants across the various professional groups under her regulation to be part of history through submission of quality research Abstracts and planned attendance to share from their wealth of knowledge and research findings in Rehabilitation among other professional groups and International audience.

 

The International Conference shall further provide the Board and her Registrants a unique opportunity to explore the WHO Action plan (2014-2021) on Disability for strategic implementation in Nigeria and Sub Saharan Africa and also provide a veritable access to CPD point to all her Registrants.

The Board has noted some complaints that financial constraints may affect participation as most professional groups also have to attend their various professional conferences for the year 2017.

 

Due to the high premium placed on continuous professional development (CPD) and international exposure and collaboration among her registrants, the Board has considered and approved immediate reduction of the Conference Registration fee by 50%.

 

The new approved Conference Registration rates are as follows: 

1. Professionals- N15,000

2. Interns /Youth Corpers - N7,500

3. Students - N5,000
