Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the post of Secretary to the anagement Board of National Orthopaedic Hospital Enugu: 

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Candidates must possess a good honours degree from a recognized University in Healthcare Management administration, Humanities/Social Sciences or Arts. 

Memebership of the Institute of Health Services Administrators of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Management or possession of a degree in Law or any postgraduate degree i.e, ( MA, M.Sc MBA, Ph D) will be an advantage. In addition, candidate must have NOT LESS THAN Twelve (12) years cognate experience in management / administration preferably in a tertiary hospital and must currently be at least an assistant director for not less than four years and on a salary not less than CON HESS 13 orits equivalent. 

DUTIES 

The successful candidate: 

• Shall conduct the correspondences of the Board and keep the records ofthe hospital. 

• Shall be responsible to the Medical Director for the effective functioning of all the administrative units of the hospital. 

• Shall perform such other functions as the Board or the Medical Director may from time assign to him/her. 

REMUNERATION/SALARY 

Salary and other allowances as approved by the Federal Govemment will be paid to the successful candidate. 

He/she will be on CONHESS 14 as applicable in Federal Tertiary/Specialty Hospitals. In addition, conditions of service as stipulated by the Federal Government and the Board of Management of the Hospital will be applied.
