A: PRIMARY EXAMINATIONS: 
This is to Inform all qualified Doctors of Optometry, wishing to undertake a minimum of 4-year full time postgraduate Residency programme leading to the award of Fellowship of the College in any of the specialties, that the Primary Examinations for Admission into any of the faculties as follows: 
Date:  December 6th 2014 
Venue: Lecture Auditorium, Department of Optometry Federal University of Technology, Owerri 
Time: 11.00 a.m
Qualification:
(i) A degree of O.D (Doctor of Optometry) from an accredited institution by the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN). 
(ii) A 3 year Post NYSC clinical experience. 
(iii) Must be in good Standing with ODORBN. 
 
Examinations will be taken for the following faculties/Specialties: 
• Primary Care Optometry
• Public Health Optometry 
• Cornea and Contact Lens PraCtice 
• Ocular Health 
• Rehabilitative Optometry and Low Vision Care 
• Paediatric Optometry 
• Orthoptics 
 
METHOD OF APPLICATION: Pay an Examination fee of N30,000 (thirty thousand naira) only into:
