Nigerian Institute of Medical Research Holds 7th Annual Scientific Conference

On behalf of the Scientific Sub-Committee, you are welcome to the 7th Annual Scientific Conference of the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research. The theme of this year's conference is “Achieving Health-Related Sustainable Development Goals in Nigeria: The Role of Research and Innovation”.

The Sub-themes are:

INNOVATIVE DIAGNOSTICS IN THE TREATMENT OF HIV, TUBERCULOSIS AND MALARIA
THE RE-EMERGENCE OF VIRAL HAEMORRHAGIC FEVERS IN WEST AFRICA
IMPROVING MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH USING SKILLED ATTENDANTS AT CHILDBIRTH: THE ROLE OF EVIDENCE

The Pre-Conference workshop is a major component of the programme. Participants will be tutored on Scientific Manuscript Writing Course.

Applicants for this course will be required to submit a draft manuscript they are working on during the application. This will be used to select participants.

The Pre-Conference workshop is scheduled for: 6th-7th November, 2016
