The theme of this year's conference is “Achieving Health-Related Sustainable Development Goals in Nigeria: The Role of Research and Innovation”. The Sub-themes are:

* INNOVATIVE DIAGNOSTICS IN THE TREATMENT OF HIV, TUBERCULOSIS AND MALARIA

* THE RE-EMERGENCE OF VIRAL HAEMORRHAGIC FEVERS IN WEST AFRICA

* IMPROVING MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH USING SKILLED ATTENDANTS AT CHILDBIRTH: THE ROLE OF EVIDENCE

The Pre-Conference workshop is a major component of the programme. Participants will be tutored on Scientific Manuscript Writing Course. Applicants for this course will be required to submit a draft manuscript they are working on during the application. This will be used to select participants. The Pre-Conference workshop is scheduled for: 6th-7th November, 2016
