Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Internship Programme For Graduates of First (1st) Degree in Nursing
All successful Graduates of November 2017 Professional Examination for General Nurses from the Departments of Nursing are expected to proceed for one (1) year Internship Programme in line with the National Policy on Nursing Education.
Each Graduate is expected to be issued with Log Book, Checklist and a Temporary Licence (Nurse Intern Licence) for the Internship Programme by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria. At the end of the Programme Graduates are expected to submit to the Council the Log Book, Intern Licence And clearance letter of completion of the Programme for registration and licencing. In the light of the above, all Heads of Departments of Nursing are hereby directed to urgently forward the following to the office of the Secretary General/Registrar of the Council for nurses who have graduated in November 2017 they are:
1. List of Graduates eligible for Internship
2. Passport photographs of Graduates with the name of Department and month/year of qualification written at the back of the passport photographs.
Evidence of payment of three thousand (N3,000) naira only through Remita for Log Book and Checklist.
