JNHC is an international standard heart center providing specialized care in cardiology and cardiovascular surgery including open heart surgery
POSITION: NURSE MANAGER
Responsibilities include 1. Oversee the smooth running of the Theatre , intensive care unit , wards and OPD
2. Providing clinical and managerial leadership for the nursing staff
3. Assist with staff training , education through CME conferences, discipline and enforcement of heart center’s rules and regulations
4. Assist with development of quality care metrics and evidence based best nursing practices
5. Ensure cleanliness of clinical work areas, develop and maintain infection control policies
6. Ensure staff meets the monthly minimum target from customer satisfaction survey
7. Maintain control of inventories ana reordering of supplies
REQUIREMENTS
1. Completion of training from a recognized and accredited institution, with minimum of BSc Nursing and post basic school of cardiothoracic nursing diploma
2. Registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria with current licenses
3. Minimum of 10years work experience including supervisory position working in a specialized or tertiary care hospital
4. Experience in cardiology/Telemetry units and open heart surgery a plus
5. Experience working in ICU and theatre
6. Must have current certification in advanced cardiac life support
7. Computer literate and familiarity with windows and MS office
