Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Biennial Nursing Leaders Conference

The Nursing and Midwifery council of Nigeria is organizing its 14th Biennial Nursing Leaders conference tagged Kaduna 2017
 
The aim of the conference is to bring together Nursing Leaders in Nigeria to discuss current issues/ developments that have implications for Nursing Education and Practice, the health needs of the nation and to articulate the way forward in confronting these issues
 
Expected participants are Nursing officers on CONHESS 13 (Grade level 14 and above, in both the private and the public sectors of Nigeria's health care industry, Academic, Corporate/ Non Governmental Organizations and Agencies
 
Theme: Consolidating on the Gains of Nursing and Midwifery Education Reforms in Nigeria
Date: 27th - 31st March, 2017
Venue: Hotel seventeen, No.6 Tafawa Balewa Way/ Lafiya Road, Kaduna, Kaduna State
 
Topics to be discused will reflect current issues in Nursing Education in Nigeria while eminent, experienced and seasoned resource persons will be available to deliver the papers and moderate discussions
 
All states of the federations and Abuja (Ministries/ Departments of health, health management boards/ health service commissions), Federal university teaching hospitals, states university teaching hospitals, Non-govermental organizations, voluntrary Agency hospitals, departments of Nursing (federal, state and private) universities, corporate organizations, hospitals, the Army, Navy, Air Force, police, immigration, customs, prisons, FRSC, state security service, defence intelligence Agency and civil defence etc are to nominate and sponsor a maximum of three participants each to the conference
 
The conference fee is N50,000 only for each participant, payable into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria account in any bank of your choice via Remita. This fee covers conference bags, tea/snacks, lunch and conference materials, flash drive of all papers to be presented and certificate of attendance.
