Emergency Team Nurse
Job Description
• Participate in exploratory missions and assessments.
• Together with the other members of the Emergency Team to evaluate, propose and implement plans for medical emergencies.
• Responsible for the management of the pharmacy in the field during medical interventions.
• Evaluation of the sanitary condition and/or the nutrition level of the population in a specific geographical area, using pre-established evaluation methods
• Work as an activity manager/supervisor in an emergency program, such as a vaccination campaign, case management, response to violence.
• Replace nurse supervisors or medical activity managers within an MSF-France program in Nigeria.
Requirements
• Emergency Nurse Supervisor must be a qualified, registered nurse with at least 4 years of experience. Adheres to the deontology of the Nigerian Nurses’s Association.
• Reactivity in the face of emergency.
• Capacity to live and work in precarious conditions and as part of a team with people of different competences and cultures
• Capable to be simultaneously “present” in the field in the practical sense (pragmatic, reactive, etc.) and have enough detachment from the situation (consider the dynamics of an epidemic, pertinences of the solutions proposed, etc.)
• Capability of composing and managing teams.
• A great deal of flexibility and a capacity for adaptation.
• MSF field experience as well as a working Knowledge of MSF tools (organization, medical protocols, national/international orders, etc.) would count as an added advantage.

Nurse Supervisor
(Short Term positions, 2 months)
Job Description

Work Location
• The Emergency Team Nurse will be based in Abuja with frequent travel throughout Nigeria, particularly Northern East part of the country. (20% MSF Abuja Office and 80% Field).
Contract
• 208 working hours per month and roster flexibility required.
