Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission to Plaster Technique Training Course at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital.  The course is a 2 year programme leading to the award of a Diploma Certificate in Plaster Technique.

(2)  ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS

(i)  Prospective candidates must possess a minimum of 5 Credits SSCE/GCE ‘O’ Level or   its equivalent.  Ward, Theatre or Plaster Room experience will be an added advantage.

(ii)  In addition to above, candidates will be selected based on their success in a written entrance examination and oral interview.

(iii)  Subjects for the competitive entrance examination are (A) English Language (B) General Paper.  The examination will be based on SSS 3 syllabus.

(iv)  Candidates selected for admission will be required to pass medical examination.

 

(3) COURSE FEE: Each student on admission would be required to pay a course fee as determined by the Hospital Management.

(4) ACCOMMODATION: Mainly for External students.

(5) METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application forms are obtainable by downloading original copy (not to be photocopied please) from University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital’s Website (www.uith.org) only.Original clean downloaded application forms must be accompanied with a non refundable fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5, 000).  This should be in Bank Draft made payable to the School of Plaster Technique, University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) Ilorin.

 

(6) CLOSING DATE

(i) Closing date for the sales of forms is 22nd August, 2014.

(ii) Application forms with evidence of payment must be returned to the office of the School Co-ordinator latest by 23rd August, 2014.

(iii)  Entrance Examination/Interview date is 27th and 28th August, 2014.
