GENERAL INFORMATION

Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) situated in Ado Ekiti is a non profit, Federal Government licensed private University.

Approval: All programmes offered in colleges of Medicine, and management Sciences and Science have been approved by the National Universities Commission.

ii. BNS Nursing Sciences 5 Years

iii. Medical Laboratory Science (B.MLS) 5 Years

BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES (4 Years)

i. B.Sc, Anatomy

ii. B.Sc. Physiology

iii. B.Sc. Human Nutrition and Dietetics 

Admission Requirements:

For Medicine and Surgery and Nursing Science, Candidates must possess a minimum of five O' level credit passes at one sitting including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.

Others: A minimum of five O' level credit passes at one sitting or six O'level credit pases at two sitting including the above lised subjects. 

UTME Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English Language.

 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

CHANGE OF INSTITUTION

i. Candidates who did not choose Afe-Banalola University (ABUAD) in the Unified Tertiary Marticulation Examination (UTME) are also qualified to participate in the Post UTME screening of the University. Such Candidates should contact the Registrar for more information.

ii. Admission into ABUAD for Non Direct Entry Candidates is subject of the UTME examination and the Post-UTME screening.

iii. Candidates awaiting SSCE results or its equivalent can also apply for admission provided the result will be available for all courses listed below except Medicine and Surgery, and Nursing Science

1. At least Two 'A' level passes chosen from subjects relevant to course of study OR 

2. NCE/OND/HND in related fields.

3. HND Conversion to degree takes 2-3 depending on the programme.

The Post-UTME Screening exercise takes place on Saturday, 5th July, 2014. 

Time: 10am at the following centres;

3. LAGOS: Afe Babalola Auditorium, University of Lagos Akola, Lagos.

5.WARRI: Montessori International College, 66 Airport Road, Opposite Delta Career College, Warri

6. IBADAN: Ab Plaza, Oshuntokun, Badija, Ibadan, Oyo State.

PRE-DEGREE PROGRAMME (9 Months)

Admission Requirements:

Candidates Must possess a minimum of five (5)

'O' level credit passes at one sitting or six (6)

'O' level credit passes at not more thab two sittings in SSCE/GCE/NECO Examinations which must include credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and other subjects relevant to course of study.

Successful Candidates will be admitted into 100 level at Afe Babalola University.

DEGREE FOUNDATION PROGRAMME (18 Months)

Admission Requirements:

Candidates must possess a minimum of fiv (5) 'O' level credit passes at one sitting in SSCE/GCE/NECO Examinations which must include passes in English 

Language, Mathematics and other subject relevant to course of study.

Successful Candidates will be admitted into 200 level at Afe Babalola University
