PRESS RELEASE BY SIR (SEN,) OZU, OBHOSAMOLOGI FREDERICK (JNR.), NATIONAL PRESIDENT NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES NURSING STUDENTS ASSOCIATION (NUNSA) NIGERIA ON THE 2ND JUNE, 2014.
It is with every sense of respect and undoubted humility that i Sir (Sen.) Ozu, O. frederick(jnr.) National president of NUNSA NIGERIA unbehalf of the National executives hereby use this medium to ''APOLOGISE'' to all NUNSAITES across the country on the postponement of the Annual National Conference that was proposed to have held on 26th through 31st May, 2014.

However, the postponement was not intentional but due to circumstances beyond our control especially in trying to be focused on the mega project that will put smiles on the faces of NUNSAITES forever from generation to generation popularly know as "UNDERGRADUATES NURSING INTERNSHIP" and by his grace we have recorded a great success on the process of kick starting but are awaiting ironing out little grey areas for the final take off for the programme, of which am very optimistic that latest by November this year 2014 we will be smiling and all the pains, tears/cries will be things of the past.
Nevertheless, as i have ever promised Nunsaites with the phrase "MY WORD IS MY BOND", i will never relent on pressing the hot bottons over Nunsaites problems and will continue to do my possible best until the right thing is done which is our right and previllege as the bedrock of the health sector. On that note, i urge all Nunsaites not to be worried but be prayerful and as we go out sourcing for solutions to our problems, God should guide and protect us in the course of moving from one place to another for the way foreward.

Through Nursingworldnigeria, i call on all Nurses both in clinical areas (hospital setting) and the academia including students from schools of nursing and the Universities department of Nursing sciences to shun disunity, dishormony, misconceptions/misrepresentation among themselves and embrace peace and unity among themselves because that is what the profession needs right now in order to move forward and be better than it is now. The unity and peace of this profession should be the paramount aim of everyone in this noble profession.
Therefore, its on this note; i hereby officially announce the new date for the forthcoming NUNSA NATIONAL ANNUAL CONFERENCE/CONVENTION slated to kinck off from 25th through 31st August, 2014 at the University of Calabar, Calabar (Malabor Republic of Nigeria).
