Announcing an introductory Course in CARDIO VASCULAR ULTRASOUND FOR RADIOGRAPHERS a Compulsory Professional Development Programme Organised by the Nigerian Institute of Radiographers a division of the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria

Workshop Fee: N60,000 (To include course materials and lunch only)
Venue: RRBN Seminar Hall, Yaba, Lagos State/Funbod Medical Diagnostix Ltd. Cele Bus-stop, Magboro, Ogun State.
* Participants will be respondible for their accommodation, transportation and other incidental expenses.
Course Fees: All payments must be made on or before the course due date in favour of Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria TSA no: 052100600100 at any Commercial Bank in Nigeria
Participation: The Course is Open to all Radiographers
Pre-requisites:
All participants must be registered with the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria and must be holders of current practicing Licences.
Methodologt:
The course will comprise of an intensive theoretical component to provide adequate founder knowledge of Cardio Vascular Ultrasound and handsd-on components to re-inforce the theoretical component and skill acquisition.
Registration: 1. Intending Participants should pay their registration fees into the Board's TSA by going to www.remita.net, click PAY REMITE CUSTOMER/BILLER or PAY A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AGENCY. A field appears for you to complate. Input RADIOGRAPHERS REGISTRATION BOARD OF NIGERIA on the first field, and the account code may also pop-up. Then complete the remaining fields, and click proceed to pay. A Remite Retrieval Reference (RRR) code is generated in your favour which you can use to make payment later in any commercial bank or you can proceed to pay online with your debit card following the prompts.
2. Participants are to send proof of payment with completed course Registration Slip forward same on or before 15 days to the registration/documentation of participants ends on Monday, 1st May 2017 by 9:00am.
Objective:
This introductory course is to expose participants to the principles of Cardio Vascular Ultrasound and its clinical applications.
Course Content:
* Anatomy of the heart and valves.
* Echo cardiography protocols and views
* Echo hands-on demonstration.
* Vascular anatomy
* Vascular protocols and views
* Doppler application in Echo and Vascular Ultrasound
* Vascular hands-on demonstration.
Note: To be eligible for practising licence in any year, a Radiographer MUST have participated in at least on (1) C.P.D. Programme of the Institute in the previous year.
