Registration Commences for National Postgraduate Medical College Fellowship Exams March/April/May 2016

The National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria announces the commencement of registration for the March/April/May 2016 Fellowship Examinations. APPLICATION IS STRICTLY ONLINE @ www.npmcn.edu.ng
 
IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ALL CANDIDATES
Applicants are advised to visit for necessary information and eligibility criteria for the examination and also to familiarize themselves with the requirements of their respective Faculties for entry to sit for the examinations.
The submission of incomplete forms/documents shall lead to disqualification and College shall not enter into any correspondence with such applicants.
 
ATTESTATION/RECOMMENDATION OF CANDIDATES
Only Fellows who are in good financial standing with the College are eligible to attest to applications and recommend candidates for the College examinations. 
 
PRIMARY FELLOWSHIP EXAMINATIONS
The March 2016 Primary Fellowship Examination of the College will hold in all Specialties (Faculties) on Wednesday March 23, 2016 in the eight (8) accredited Examination Centres as follows: Abuja, Benin, Calabar, Enugu, Ile-Ife, Ilorin, Lagos and Owerri
EXAMINATION FEES: Forty thousand naira (₦40,000.00) only for all Faculties.
 
PART 1 FELLOWSHIP EXAMINATIONS
The March/ April/May 2016 Two-Stage Part I Fellowship Examinations of the College will hold in all Specialties (Faculties) as follows:
The First Stage (Multiple Choice Questions) of Part I Fellowship Examination in all Faculties will hold on Thursday March 24, 2016 in the five (5) accredited Centres as follows: Abuja, Enugu, Ilorin, Lagos and Owerri
Only successful candidates in the First Stage will be invited for the Second Stage of the examination consisting of Written, Clinical/Practical and Orals in April/May 2016.
 
EXAMINATION FEES
A. Faculties of Dental Surgery and Pathology - 100,000 only.
B. Faculties of Family Dentistry (GDP), Ophthalmology, Public Health, Oto-Rhino-Laryngology - 80,000 only
C. Faculties of Anaesthesia, Family Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Radiology, Surgery and Orthopaedics - 60,000 only
 
PART 11 FELLOWSHIP EXAMINATIONS
Part II Fellowship Examinationsin all faculties will hold in April/May 2016 in the usual format.
 
EXAMINATION FEES
A. Faculties of Dental Surgery, Pathology, Internal Medicine and Surgery - 140,000 only.
B. Faculties of Anaesthesia, Family Medicine, Family Dentistry (GDP), Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Public Health, Radiology, Orthopaedics and Oto-Rhino-Laryngology - 100,000 only
 
ASSOCIATE FELLOW'S ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTION (AFAS) Parts I and II/DEVELOPMENT LEVY (Part I Only)
 
1. Candidates are to pay Associate Fellows' Annual Subscription (AFAS) of ten thousand naira ( 10,000.00) for 2016 on or before 31st January 2016 for all College Examinations holding in 2016.
Please note that this payment is ANNUAL irrespective of whether an examination will be taken or not. Late payment beyond this date will attract a penalty of ten thousand naira ( 10,000.00) annually per candidate.
2. Candidates with outstanding (AFAS) for previous years MUST clear such before the Examination.
3. All Outstanding AFAS of ten thousand naira ( 10,000.00) per annum should be paid along with a penalty of ten thousand naira ( 10,000.00) annually per candidate.
4. All fresh applicants for Part I are to pay Development Levy of ten thousand naira ( 10,000.00) only along with the AFAS.
5. All prospective Part I candidates are required to register as Associate Fellow and pay the sum of thirty thousand naira (₦30,000.00) Associate Fellow Registration. (Registration form is available on the website)
6. Payment of dues: AFAS, Development and Associate Fellows registration are to be executed as detailed on the website at www.npmcn.edu.ng/guidelines-on-payment-to-the-college/ This is to maintain your membership of the Association of Fellows/Associate Fellows
7. All candidates should write their names, addresses, Faculty and the Part of the fellowship examination that they intend to sit for at the back of payment slip. 
 
MODE OF APPLICATION - REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT STRICTLY ONLINE
Visit the Examination Portal on the College website www.npmcn.edu.ng to register and make payment for the examination online.
Candidates are enjoined to comply with the directive on the Examination portal. In particular, note the Remita Retrieval Referral (RRR) number generated for
payment purposes in line with the Federal Government Treasury Single account (TSA) directive.
After successful payment and registration, candidates are to download the completed registration forms accompanied by all relevant documents, sign the necessary sections and send to the College Registrar at the official address.
 
CLOSING DATE:
Completed application forms accompanied by all relevant documents should reach the College Registrar at the official address not later than Sunday January 31,2016. Please remember to post-code your self-addressed and stamped envelopes. 
 
LATE ENTRY
Applications received after the closing date will be treated as late entry. A late entry fee of Twenty thousand naira ( 20, 000.00) only per candidate will be charged.
Submission of late forms will be allowed for a period of two (2) weeks only from the original closing date. Applications received after the late entry deadline will NOT be processed for the current examination
