1. SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENT HEALTH 

i. Environmental Health Technology (HND) 4 years Entry Requirement:

Four (5) O' Level credits in GCE/WASC/SSCE/NECO Which must include, English Languagem Biology/Health Science, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Holders of environmental Health Technician Diploma with HND requirement shall be admitted directly to second year ND Environmental Health. Candidates who have successfully completed the Board's recognized Pre-candidates must possess the above entry requirement.

ii. Environmental Health Technician Course (3 years) Entry Requirement:

Four (4) credits and two passes in GCE/WAEC/NECO examination. The Credits must be in any of the following subject: English Language, Biology /Health Science, Geography, Physics, Chemistry, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing and any other subject. A pass in Mathematics qualification experience may be aditted at 200 level of Environement Health Assistant Certificate with two years post provided they fullfill the entry requirement above.

iii. Pest Management  (Diploma) 2 years Requirement:

Four (4) O' Level Credits in WASC/GCE/SSCE/in English Language, Biology/Health Science, Economics/Commerce/Commerce/Chemistry/Chemistry and pass in Mathematics at not more than two sitting 

2. SCHOOL OF COMMUNITY HEALTH 

Community Health Extension Workers Course (Diploma) 3 Years entry Requirement:

Five (5) O' Level credits at WASC/NECO/GCE at not more than sittings, 3 credits in the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, English Language, and any other (2) two credits from chemistry, Agric Science Social Science such as Economics, Literature, Commerce, Christian Religious Knowledge etc.

ii. Direct Entry (CHEW in-Service) 2 year Professional Disploma Entry Requirement:

iii. Emergency Medical Technician (3 years) Entry 

Requirement:

Four (4) O' Level Credits in WASC/GCE/SSCE in Mathematices, Physics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry/Physics and a pass in English Language at not more than two (2) sittings.

• Candidate must be physically fit and able to lift weight

• Must be free from uncontrolled diabetes and hypertension, epilepsy, active respiratory infection (i.e Tuberculosis)

• Must have current immunization for Hepatitis, B.C, Tetanus, Meaning it is

• Must not have a criminal record 

• Free from substance abuse 

• Should have a verifiable residential address.

iv. Optometry Technician (3 years) Entry 

Requirement: 

i Four (4) O' Level credits in WASC/GCE/SSCE in mathematics, Physics, Biology/ chemistry/Physics and a pass in English Language, at not more than two (2) sitting.

SCHOOL OF MEDICL SOCIAL WORK

i Medical Social Work (Technician) 3 Years Entry 

Requirement:

Five (5) O' Level credits in WASC/GCE or NECO which must include English Language, Mathematics and three (3) others, one subject chosen from each of the subject combination: (Government/History, Christian Religious/ Islamic Knowledge) (Health Science/Biology/Nutrition), (Economics Commerce/Geography) at not more than 2 sittings.

4. SCHOOL OF PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

i. Pharmacy Technician Course (3 years) Entry 

Requirement:

Five (5) O' Level credits in WASC/GCE or NECO which must include English Language at not more than two sittings.

5. SCHOOL OF PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

i. Dental Surgery Technician Course (3) Years Entry 

Requirement:

Four (4) credits in WASC/GCE or NECO which must include Biology,Chemistry/Physics, English Language and Mathematics,  

ii. Anaesthetic Technician Course (3 Years) Entry Requirement:

Four (4) credits in WASC/GCE or NECO which must include,  Mathematics,Physics,Biology/Chemistry and in English Language at not more than two (2) sittings.

6. SCHOOL OF HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Health Records Technician Course (3 years) Entry

Requirement:

Five (5) credits in WASC/GCE or NECO examination at not more than two sittings, The credits must be in Mathematics, English Language,Biology/Health Science, and any two credits from any other subjects: Chemistry, Economics or Social Sciences

ii. Health Records Technician (In-Service) 1 year 

Entry Requirement:

National Certification in information management (NCIM) in addition to possession of entry requirement above.

iii. Hospital/Health Administration (Diploma) 2 years Entry Requirement: 

Four (4) O' Level Credits in WASC/GCE/SSCE in Mathematics, English language, Economices/Government and Biology at not more than two 2 sitting

7 SCHOOL OF MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE

i. Medical Laboratory Technician Course (3 years) 

Entry Requirement:

Five (5) credits at WASC/GCE or NECO which must include English Language, Chemistry,Biology,Physics and a pass Mathematics. In addition, candidates must posses any of the under listed

. Nigerian Registered Nurse Certoficate 

. Nigerian Registered Midwifery Certificate

. Psychiatric Nurse Certification (or Accident and Emergency Certificates (for males) plus one year post qualification experience

ii. ABRIDGEMENT (REFRESHER) PROGRAMME (HND) 2 years 

Entry Requirement:

National Diploma in Public Health Nursing; in addition to five credits in English Language, Chemistry Physics, Biology and a pass in Mathematics in WASC/NECO/GCE

9. SCHOOL OF BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

Biomedical Engineering Technician Course (Diploma) 3 Years Entry Requirements:

Four (4) O' Level Credits in WASC/GCE/SSCE in English Language Mathematics, Biology and one (1) subject chosen form Physics, Chemistry 

10. SCHOOL OF MEDICAL IMAGING TECHNOLOGY.

i. Haemo-dialusis (Diploma) 2 Years Entry Requirement;

Four (4) O' Level Credits in WASC/GCE/SSCE in Mathematics, Physics,  Biology/Chemistry and a pass in English Language at not more than two (2) sittings

ii. Electrocardigram (Diploma) 2 years Entry Requirement:

Four (4) O' Level Credits in WASC/GCE/SSCE in Mathematics, Physics,  Biology/Chemistry and a pass in English Language at not more than two (2) sittings

11. SCHOOLS OF GENERAL AND REMEDICAL STUDIES

Computer Studies (Diploma) 2 years Entry Requirement:

Four (4) O' Level Credits in WASC/GCE/SSCE in Mathematics/Statistics, English Language, Commerce/Economics and Physics.

APPLICANTS MUST BE 16 YEARS OF AGE OR OVER BY SEPTEMBER 2014 REGISTRATION PERIOD 23rd April 2014-3rd July, 2014
