SCHOOL OF POST BASIC GENERAL NURSING

DURATION:

The duration of the course is Eighteen (18) Calendar months commencing March, 2015.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must:

. Possess WAEC/GCE? NECO with 5 Credits including English Language, Mathematics, and three sciences i..e Physics, Chemistry and Biology at not more than 2 sitting.

. Be a Registered Midwife or Psychiatric Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria

. Note that combination of NECO and WAEC results is acceptable.

. Have at least one year post registration working experience after the mandatory communit6y service (Midwives only).

TEST AND SELECTION INTERVIEW

Written test: Thursday 15th July, 2014

Oral Interview: 16th & 17th July, 2014

Venue: School of Nursing, OAUTHC, Ile-Ife.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Application forms are obtainable from the office of the Deputy Director (Nursing Education), OAUTHC, Ile-Ife at a cost of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) only payable by Cash and not by Bank draft to the Schools’ Account (Nursing Education), Mainstreet Bank (OAUTHC), Ife Hospital Unit, Ile-Ife – 6000024593.

CLOSING

Completed application forms together with photocopies of relevant credentials should be returned to the Office where the forms were obtained on or before 5th July, 2014.
