Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following schools / training program in ABU Teaching hospital zaria for 2013/ 2014 academic session

 

National Diploma course in health information management

Duration: two years direct course for those with GCE 'o' level or its equivalent and one year for those with national certificate in health information management of the health record officers registration board of nigeria.

 

Entry requirements:

1) candidates for this program must have WASC, SSCE or NECO with passess at credit level in five subjects including english, mathematics, biology/ health sciences and two other subjects.

 

1) for JAMB candidates they must possess the JAMB cut-off marks

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT:

i) pregnancy is not allowed during training

ii) selection of candidates will be on the basis of academic qualification. A written examination and oral interview coupled with presentation of original certificates.

iii) entrance exams and interview dates will be communicated to candidates.

 

HIGHER NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN HEALTH INFORMATION MANAGEMENT

Duration: two years

entry requirements: candidates for this program must have obtained national diploma in health information management and registered with the health records officers registration board of nigeria and must have undergone an industrial training for one year in a reputable hospital.

 

Entrance exam and interview would be communicated to candidates.
