School of Post Basic Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Enugu ADMISSION! ADMISSION!! ADMISSION!!!

ADMISSION INTO THE SCHOOL OF POST BASIC PSYCHIATRIC & MENTAL HEALTH NURSING FOR MAY, 2016 SESSION

Applications are invited from suitable qualified candidates for admission into the 18 months Post Basic Psychiatric Nursing programme of the School of Post Basic Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing, FederalNeuropsychiatric Hospital, Enugu.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

i. Registered Nurse (RN)

ii. Five (5) Credits in WASC/SSCE/GCE OR NECO to include:

English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at not more than two sittings. Also, Individuals with Bachelor of Nursing Sciences (BNSC) can also apply for Specialty in this field.

iii. Photocopies of relevant credentials as well as evidence of current License to practice from Nursing & Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

Iv. At least one year Post Qualification/Registration cognate experience (minimum)

v. Recommendation from two (2) referees; one must be from the last school of Nursing attended.

vi. Enclose two (2) passport size recent photographs.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

1. All applications should be addressed to:

"The Acting Co-ordinator,School of Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing,Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Enugu.

CLOSING

2. Submission of applications starts on Friday 4th December, 2015 and closesFriday February 5th, 2016.

3. Names of shortlisted candidates for the entrance examination will be published on the school notice board from Monday15thFebruary, 2016.

4. Written and oral examination will take place on Saturday 27th February, 2016 at 9.00a.m in the school auditorium, for shortlisted candidates only.
