Senior Officer, Monitoring & Evaluation (GF Malaria Project) - Abuja

Job Profile
This is a Senior Officer position reporting to the M&E Manager at the HQ, the successful candidate will act as the monitoring and evaluation specialist of the project. S/He will manage the implementation of a variety of surveys and research studies and the MIS system of the Global Fund project. S/He will conduct Quality Data Assessment (DQA) to verify data reported by the partnering health facilities prior to the submission of Progress Update Report (PUDR) to the donor. S/He will support evidence informed programming, and will oversee and coordinate data collection for impact evaluation and operations research at field level.
 
Qualifications/Experience: The desired candidate:
• Must possess a first degree in a relevant field. A higher degree in Public Health or related fields and certificates in relevant M&E courses will be of an added advantage.
• Must possess a minimum of three (3) years post NYSC work experience, preferably in M&E.
• Must have previous experience in the use of the DHIS and other national M&E tools.
• Must show demonstrable willingness and ability to adjust quickly to rapidly changing priorities, multiple demands and complex situations.
• Must be computer literate, able to manipulate spreadsheets and be familiar with the NGO working environment.
• Excellent writing and good statistical analysis (5PSS, Stata, Epi Info) skills are important to this position
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, training and report writing skills are very important to this position. 
 
Health Communication Coordinator, Women’s Health Project/Maternal & Child
Health/Reproductive Health (WHP/MCH/RP) – Rivers State

Job Profile:
This is a Senior Officer position reporting to the Territorial Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Women’s Health Project (WHP) Programme Manager. The successful candidate(s) will lead the implementation of Maternal and Child Health/Reproductive Health (MCH/RH) activities and/or interventions at the regional level. With the support of the Territorial Manager, the staff member will coordinate and ensure the successful implementation of all demand generation and MCH/RH activities within the designated region.
 
Qualifications/Experience:
• A first degree in health/biological sciences, social sciences, pharmacy or communication arts.
• Must have at least 3 years post NYSC work experience on similar job.
• Possess basic knowledge of MCH/RH services
• Candidates should be able to communicate proficiently in the dominant language of the region.
• S/He must be attuned to and be comfortable with the culture/traditions of the people.
• Excellent communication, presentation, report writing and mentoring skills
• Supervisory, relationship management/advocacy skills and mentoring skills
• High level of integrity.

Job Profile:
This is a Senior Officer position reporting to the Territorial Manager with a dotted reporting line to the Women’s Health Project (WHP) program manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of Family Planning (FP) and Reproductive Health (RP) activities in the State. S/He will give support to other QFPs to ensure that all SFH Franchise service delivery activities and/or interventions are implemented in a timely manner at the state level. S/He will work with the Franchise and other stakeholders to identify and select facilities for interventions conduct clinic support days/Supervisory Support Visits (SSVs) as a means of capacity building for providers and ensuring quality of care to women and their families. S/He will maintain a database of IUCD and Implant insertions and uptake of other contraceptive methods. S/He will ensure the availability of misoprostol and all other SFH products in Franchise facilities. QFPs in Expanded Public Sector EPSE states will be responsible for linkage with public health sector through advocacy visits to the Ministry of Health and other relevant stakeholders, identification and enrolment of
public sector facilities for implementation of the project in the public sector and lead in the training of TOTs as well as cascade training to participating Public Sector providers on Long term methods of family planning and post abortion care.
 
Qualifications/Experience:
• Must possess a Medical (MBBS/MBChB) or Nursing degree (B.Sc Nursing) with current registration with appropriate national regulatory bodies. A Masters degree in Public Health (MPH) or health promotion/management will be of added advantage.
• Must possess a minimum of three (3) years post NYSC working experience in international health and/or family planning programmes.
• Must possess sound experience in community mobilisation techniques.
• Must possess sound technical knowledge of reproductive health and modern contraceptive methods.
• Must be excellent at report writing and possess strong M&E skills.
• Must possess experience in donor funded projects and advocacy skills.
