Job Profile:
Reporting to the Manager Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) at the Head Office, the desired candidate will ensure proper management of data on the District Health Information System (DHIS) software. S/He will ensure that data collected from state level implementation are collated and entered expeditiously in the webbased DHIS and ready for use for program planning. The successful candidate will provide technical support to users of DHIS2 at all levels and will modify and update the DHIS2 modules in accordance with program requirement and specification.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Must possess a first degree in Statistics/Sciences/Medical/Behavioural/Demography/Social Sciences or its equivalent in a relevant field.
• Must have minimum of one (1) year experience in the use of DHIS 1.4 and 2.0.
• Must have intermediate expertise in mixed-methods (qualitative and quantitative) M&E and research.
• S/He must possess ability to analyse and interpret both quantitative and qualitative data to inform programming.
• Knowledge of SPSS or STATA or Epi Info/CS Pro or MS-Access or other compatible database software will be of added advantage.
