Application are invited from suitable qualified candidates for admission into the above mentioned training programme for 2025/2026 session.

Duration of the course is 18 months.

 

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

1. Be a Registered Nurse(RN) with a current practising license

2. Have at least 2 years Post Qualification experience preferable intensive care and/or theatre unit.

3. Hold the West African School Certificate or General Certificate of Education, ordinary level with credit in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

 

METHOD OF APPLICATION

• Application forms are obtainable online with every other information at UNTH portal www.unthportal.org starting from 3rd March, to 4th August, 2025. Completed application form must be returned to the Post Basic Nurse Anaesthetist Prgramme, University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital stamped envelopes to reach the school on or before 4th August 2025

 

EXAMINATION:

• The Entrance Examination and interview for new intake into 2025/2026 session is scheduled to take place 5th - 8th August, 2025. Candidates are a advised to make accommodation arrangement for the period of entrance and interview.

 

ACCOMMODATION:

• The hospital has limited accommodation to offer to selected candidates during the period of the course.
