ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Includes the following;
1. Prepare patients for sonographical and scan following established procedures for patient care and safety.
2. Protect patients, yourself and staff from radiation exposure by practicing sound procedures which meet or exceed recommended industry standards.
3. Ensure that all equipment is in good working condition and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
4. Report immediately any equipment malfunctions to Supervisor.
5. Log completed Sonographical procedures. Complete paperwork accurately and on time.
6. Identify and file reports as required.
7. Work closely with the Radiologist, Physician, MD, to receive guidance and instruction for treating patients.
8. Perform imaging work as directed by Radiologist, or MD
9. Attends all in-service education as required by the centre and policy
10. Demonstrates respect and regard for the dignity of all patients, families, visitors and fellow employees to ensure a professional, responsible and courteous environment.
11. Ensure that customers are satisfied
12. And any task assigned by the COO
Qualification/Requirements
B. Rad or Equivalent with license for sonography
At least 3 years Experience
Computer Proficient
Passionate about customer service
