WORKSHOP OBJECTIVES

. To create a platform for scientists and policy makers to share best practices and lessons with regaed to epidemic preparedness and outbreak response to Viral Hemorrahgic Fever.

. To review current efforts in the control of outbreaks of Lassa fever and other Viral Hemorrahgic Fever, and impove the capacity for response to outbreak of HIDs in the sub-region

. To foster North-South and Sub-Regional coorperation in the control of Lassa Fever and other Viral Hemorrahgic fever.

. To introduce, commission and deploy the Mobile PCR Laboratory as a tool for improved outbreak response in the sub-region
