Authorities of the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lagos have lined up a series of events to celebrate thirty (30) years of pharmaceutical excellence within the Faculty.

The year 2014 marked 30 years of professional excellence in the Faculty which was officially recognized by the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria in 1984 as an academic institution authorized to train and graduate degree holders in Pharmacy in line with the regulations of the University of Lagos.

Details of the events lined up to celebrate the anniversary are as follows:

1. Faculty of Pharmacy Alumni Lecture:

• Date: Tuesday, March 3, 2015
• Time: 10:00 a.m.
• Venue:  Main Auditorium, UNILAG, Akoka
• Title: “New graduates as agents for Transforming Pharmacy Practice”

2. Faculty of Pharmacy Purple Tie Luncheon:

• Date: Tuesday, March 3, 2015
• Time: 1:00 p.m.
• Venue: Multipurpose Hall C, UNILAG, Akoka             

The Pharmacists Council has also approved that the Oath-taking/Induction Ceremony of the special graduating class of 2014 holds on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Main Auditorium, UNILAG, Akoka.
