MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE EDUCATION UNIT (Formerly School of Medical Laboratory Science)
UNIVERSITY COLEGE HOSPITAL, IBADAN invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for 24 months Special Fellowship Programme of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN), for the 2016/2017 Academic Session in the following Specialties of Medical Laboratory Science:

-Chemical Pathology
-Haematology
-Blood Transfusion Science
-Medical Microbiology
-Medical Parasitology
-Histopathology
-Virology

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must be holders of BMLS/AMLS for at least 2 years (post NYSC). Applicants must also be holders of current Licence to practice as Medical Laboratory Scientists.

CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSIONS
Selection of candidates will be based on Academic qualifications, experience and a good statement of purpose stating how the programme will improve your skill in the practice of MLS as well as meeting your career goal.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Application form can be obtained from the Medical Laboratory Science Education Unit (formerly School of Medical laboratory Science), University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan from 29th March – 20th April, 2017. Application Form costs #5,000.00 payable into UCH TSA Account (Schools Account) – in any Commercial Bank in Nigeria.

Application duly completed must be returned to the Deputy Director (Training), Medical Laboratory Science Education Unit, UCH, Ibadan, not later than 21st of April 2017 – No late form.

Each application should be accompanied with
– Academic credentials
– Personal Statement of purpose
– Current Licence showing Registration as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
– Two Passport photograph.
