Screening Of Post-utme Candidates For Admission Into The University Of Calabar For The 2015/2016 Academic Session

We make this announcement for the benefit of all candidates who have chosen University of Calabar as their First choice in their application for admission into the 2015/2016 session. The First choice Post-UTME Screening Exercise has been re-scheduled to take place on Monday 24th August to Tuesday 25th August 2015. This notice supersedes the earlier publication on the subject

ELIGIBILITY

1. Candidates for Medicine/Surgery are required to have scored 200 and above in UTME

2. For all other programmes, candidates with UTME score of 180 and eligible

PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

The following options are available

1. E-transactoption:

This option is available in all commercial banks nationwide. At the bank you are required to pay and obtain a PIN. With the PIN log into the portal http://www.unical.postutme.org and Follow the instructions on the portal after login

2. Scratch Card Option:

This option is available in the following banks within Calabar metropolis ONLY:

(a) Unical Microfinance Bank

(b) WEMAbank

On obtaining the scratch card proceed as follows:

(a) LOG ON TO: http://www.unical.postutme.org/

(b) On the home page,enter your correct JAMB

Registration No. in the box provided.

(d) Click on login and follow the online instructions.

(e) Confirm your entries and CLICK ON SUBMIT.

(f) Print out the completed the form Download relevant practice questions

APPLICATION FEE:

For either option the application fee is N6,500.00 which covers the screening fee, practice question papers, portal and bank charges.

DEADLINE

REGISTRATION WILL SHUT DOWN AT 12.00 MID

NIGHT ON WEDNESDAY 19TH AUGUST2015.

NOTE

Candidates are required to come with their 2015/2016 original examination UTME result slip showing the Candidate's photograph.

IT MUST BE FURTHER NOTED THAT:

(a) Impersonation is a serious offence and anyone caught will be handed over to the Law Enforcement Agents and may be liable to up to 5 years imprisonment.

(b) Any candidate who fails to take part in the screening exercise automatically loses his or her chance of being considered for admission.

(c) GSM handsets, calculators or any other extraneous materials MUST NOT be brought Into the screening venue. Such materials if confiscated will not be retumed.

(d) Early commencement of registration is advised to avoid web congestion in the dying hours.
