The National Association of Resident Doctors, the University of Port Harcourt branch is set to resume their strike action which was suspended two months ago.
The signal emerged after the Residents Doctors staged a protest yesterday to compel the management of the Teaching Hospital to fulfill its part of an agreement that initially led to the suspension of the strike.

Doctor ACHOR further warned that the Resident Doctors would withdraw their services any moment, with or without further notice.
You would recall that the Residents Doctors had called off their strike in October, after a two months action, following the intervention of the National Assembly.
UPTH MANAGEMENT
The Chief Medical Director of the UPTH Professor AARON OJULE said the management has fulfilled all the agreement reached with the resident Doctors.
Professor OJULE said the failure to pay the two months salaries of the Residents Doctors was in compliance with the Federal Government directive on no work, no pay.
He said unpaid two months salaries represent the period when the Doctors were on strike.
