We seek applications from qualified persons for the following positions in our project for Vulnerable Children, being implemented in 12 States with support from the Global Fund.
Programme Manager, OVC Care and Support 
Location: Abuja 
The Program Manager will assume line management of Sub Recipients (SRs) and report directly to the HIV Project Coordinator ARFH. 
Specific Job/Responsibilities:
Implement project plan and system that communicates tasks, deadlines, status and track project milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate partners' and stakeholders' activities, including creating enabling environment for effective project implementation.
Work with project M&E team to strengthen impact evaluation framework. www.medicalworldnigeria.com
Collate, review and monitor project reports and ensure that they correctly reflect the performance on the field. Prepare and submit high quality programmatic reports.
Ensure that implementation is consistent with the overall project design across all project sites, particularly in the strengthening of community systems for delivery of quality OVC services in line with National guidelines. www.medicalworldnigeria.com
Ensure project transactions are kept within the limits of the budget and grant funds are expended in an efficient manner.
Institutionalize and oversee quality implementation of system-wide performance improvement programmatic processes in all project offices.
Review training plans and align same to meet capacity needs at States, LGA and Community levels.
Conduct advocacy to the Public and Private sectors to generate support for Vulnerable Children.
Provide technical assistance and support to States and Local governments in the implementation of the project, to promote ownership and sustainability.
Institutionalize Quality Improvement Standards in service provision.
Qualifications
A degree in social sciences, Health, Development Studies or related disciplines. Possession of higher degrees-MPH, PhD will be added advantage. Preference will be given to candidates with proven experiences in OVC and HIV/AIDS programming.
A minimum of 5 years cognate work experience with 3 years at Project Officer level in the implementation of projects for vulnerable children in Nigeria.
Computer skills in MS Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and NOMIS software used to generate OVC reports
Good Communication skills.
Programme Officer, OVC Care and Support 
Location: Abuja 
Specific Job/Responsibilities:
Ensure all documentation, reports, and records are maintained per agreed procedure, and information is provided on community activities as required.
Support the Program Manager to provide technical and programmatic leadership and support to Sub Recipient (SR) to implement high quality care and support activities for orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs). www.medicalworldnigeria.com
Provide assistance in the Supervision of SR activities on OVC project implementation
Support the tracking of Project activities, in line with the Performance Framework.
Conduct periodic oversight function to the SR and Community Based Organizations (CBOs)
Assist in preparing quarterly activity report and liaise with M&E Department to ensure that Global Fund reports are prepared within specific period
Collect quarterly activity report from SR
Assist in strengthening a system of reporting on activities progress against stated objectives and monitoring and evaluation framework according to National guidelines.
Qualifications: 
A degree in Social sciences or Health related disciplines with at least 4 years post National Youth Service experience, which must include at least 2 years in programming for Vulnerable Children in Nigeria. Computer skills in MS Office Suite applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and NOMIS software used to generate OVC reports. Good Communication and Facilitation skills.
