Job Profile
This position reports to the State Project Manager. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the coordination of ETS volunteers in wards and communities as well as the conduct of advocacy visits to Local Government Areas (LGAs) and to community/religious leaders in all intervention communities. S/He must carry out identification and selection of volunteer drivers and ensure the continuous update of the volunteer list. S/He will participate in the review of ETS MIS logbook and will lead in the organisation and conduct of training of all volunteers in LGAs and also ensure that all volunteers have required tools for collection of MIS information. S/He will also ensure referral of women to health facilities according to set standards and also ensure proper and correct documentation of all activities. In addition, s/he will be responsible for the organisation and conduct of quarterly review meetings among ETS volunteers.
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum Academic/Professional Qualifications required for the position:
ï‚· First degree in Sciences/Medical/Biological Sciences/Public Health or its equivalent in a relevant field isrequired.
ï‚· Must possess minimum three (3) years experience in a health facility or an NGO.
ï‚· Ability to speak and write fluently in Hausa is very relevant to this position.
ï‚· Must possess excellent planning and organisational skills, and experience in managing ETS will be of addedadvantage.
ï‚· Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
ï‚· Must have cognate skills in computer appreciation, and knowledge of community mobilisation techniques will beessential to this position.
ï‚· Must possess a high level of integrity and with good interpersonal skills.
